Weekloop in Claude
Run your marketing straight from Claude.
With Weekloop in Claude you work with your own Weekloop account in the chat. There are two connectors: the directory connector plans, writes and approves. The full connector does the same and also has Weekloop produce images and videos. Either way, publishing only happens in Weekloop, and only after your approval.

Two connectors, one Weekloop account
Both connect Claude to your own Weekloop account. The difference: only the full connector can produce images and videos. You only need one of them, because the full connector includes everything the directory connector does.

Scene images, image import and video projects are available on the plans that include video projects, see pricing. Weekloop only uses credits after you explicitly confirm in the chat. Connect only one of the two connectors, otherwise Claude offers the same tools twice.
The two connectors in brief
What you get done in the chat with each connector, and what applies to both.
Directory connector: plan, write, approve
For editorial work in the chat: Claude reads your Weekloop account, creates weekly plans and post drafts, revises text, and approves proposals or requests changes. This connector does not create images or videos and uses no credits. It is prepared but not yet listed in the Claude directory. Until then, use the full connector, which does all of this and more.
Full connector: images and videos as well
Everything the directory connector does, plus production: images and videos for approved proposals, AI scene images from product photos, and video projects from up to ten photos with voice-over, music and captions, from script to sign-off of the finished video. You add it yourself as a custom connector; the steps are below.
The same in both
Sign-in only at Weekloop, access only to your own account. Claude shows you every change first and only saves it after your confirmation. Nothing is published, scheduled, sent or purchased through Claude. That stays in Weekloop.
Claude
What it looks like in the chat

1 · “What is planned this week?” Read
Claude reads the current plan from your Weekloop account.
2 · “Shorten Tuesday’s post.” Draft
Claude shows you the change and only saves it after your yes.
3 · “Approve the proposal.” Approval
The approval is saved in Weekloop. Publishing happens there.
Five example prompts for both connectors
“What does Weekloop know about my business and target audience?”
Claude reads your business profile and sums up audience, tone and topics.
“Show me my current weekly plan and which items still need review.”
Claude loads the plan and lists the items still waiting for your review.
“Draft three LinkedIn post ideas for next week based on my content pillars, then save them as a weekly plan in Weekloop.”
Claude proposes the ideas. After your yes it saves them as a weekly plan draft.
“Shorten the caption of my latest Instagram draft to under 150 characters and save the change.”
Claude shows you the new caption and saves it after your confirmation. Existing images are kept.
“Approve the first two items of this week’s plan and request changes on the third: the tone should be more personal.”
Claude saves the decisions in Weekloop. Nothing is published.
Which connector fits you?
Both use your own Weekloop account. You can switch at any time.
You plan and write with Claude
Then the directory connector is enough. You keep producing images and videos in the Weekloop app, where your drafts from Claude are already saved.
You want to start images and videos straight from Claude
Then use the full connector at https://mcp.weekloop.ai/mcp. It also includes everything for planning, writing and approving.
Switching
Disconnect one connector in Claude under Customize → Connectors and connect the other. Your plans, drafts and media stay in Weekloop.
Set up the full connector in Claude
You need a Weekloop account; the 14-day free trial is enough to try it. The steps apply to Claude in the browser and in the desktop app. According to Anthropic, custom connectors work on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one.
1 · Add the connector
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors. Click + and then Add custom connector.
2 · Enter the address
Enter
https://mcp.weekloop.ai/mcpas the server URL and click Add. You do not need the advanced settings.3 · Connect and consent
Click Connect. You sign in to Weekloop. Weekloop then shows a consent page: which app wants access, where the approval is sent, which version and which permissions. The connection only works after you click Allow.
4 · Use it in the chat
Turn on Weekloop in the chat via + → Connectors and ask, for example: “What does Weekloop know about my business?”
In Claude Code
In Claude Code you use the full connector. Add it once for all projects.
1 · Add the server
In the terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user weekloop https://mcp.weekloop.ai/mcp2 · Sign in
In Claude Code, type
/mcp, select weekloop and then Authenticate. In the browser you sign in to Weekloop and confirm the consent page.
Security and privacy
Sign-in only at Weekloop
The connection uses a Weekloop sign-in (OAuth). Claude never sees your password and can only reach your own workspace. You can disconnect at any time in Claude under Customize → Connectors.
Consent in plain words
The consent page shows your account, the app, the version and the permissions: read, save drafts and, with the full connector, start production. Weekloop remembers your consent for 90 days. For another app or more permissions, Weekloop asks again.
What Claude sees
Only the answers of the tools Claude calls for your request, for example your profile or a weekly plan. Lists are shortened. Weekloop never returns passwords, keys or data from other accounts. Weekloop only receives what Claude passes on for each step, not your chat history.
What Weekloop stores
Whatever you create, change or approve through Claude is saved in your Weekloop account. Weekloop also stores your consent and the connection’s access keys: access for one hour, renewal for at most one year. More in the privacy policy. What Claude does with the answers is governed by Anthropic’s terms for your Claude account.
Frequently asked questions
What does Weekloop in Claude cost?
The connection itself costs nothing extra. You use your Weekloop account with its plan and credits. The directory connector uses no credits. With the full connector, productions, AI scene images and AI drafts for video projects use credits, each only after your explicit confirmation.
Why can’t the directory connector create images and videos?
According to Anthropic’s review criteria, the Claude directory does not accept connectors that generate images, video or audio with AI. That is why production is left out there. You add the full connector to Claude yourself, the way Anthropic provides for custom connectors.
I use the directory connector and want to make a video. What now?
You have two options: produce it in the Weekloop app, where your drafts from Claude are already saved. Or switch to the full connector in Claude; the steps are above.
Which Claude plan do I need?
According to Anthropic, custom connectors are available on the Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. The Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector for the organization, then each member connects their own Weekloop account.
Can Claude post on my behalf?
No, with neither connector. Nothing is published, scheduled or sent through Claude. You approve posts in Weekloop, and only then do they go to your connected channels.
Do I need a Weekloop account?
Yes. Both connectors only work with your own Weekloop account. The 14-day free trial is enough to try it.
Is Weekloop in the Claude directory?
Not yet. The directory connector is prepared. Until it is listed, use the full connector, which does all of this and more.
Is Weekloop also available in ChatGPT?
Yes. Weekloop is listed in the ChatGPT directory. The guide is on the “Weekloop in ChatGPT” page.
