Weekloop vs. agency

Agency or Weekloop? Costs and services compared.

An agency brings people, advice and experience, and that has its price. Weekloop works like a virtual marketing department: Spark plans every week, creates posts, videos, posters, newsletters and blog articles from your brand profile and publishes after your approval. Here you see both side by side, with sources.

What agency social media management costs

For ongoing management of one or two channels, the Austrian and German guides we reviewed mostly quote €500 to €2,500 per month. According to Herold, standard agency packages in Austria often start at €800 to €1,200 per month. With several channels, video and ad management, the figures range from €2,500 to €5,000. The budget for paid ads comes on top in every case.

Hourly rates

Agencies that bill by the hour charge roughly €60 to €200 depending on the role. uNaice quotes €90 to €130 for senior social media managers and €130 to €200 for strategy and consulting. For advertising agencies in Germany, creationell quotes €70 to €100 for small agencies and €100 to €150 for full-service agencies.

Typical agency services

Planning, designing and publishing content, answering comments and messages, monthly reporting. According to Herold, photos and videos often cost extra. For a basic package with one or two channels, creationell mentions 4 to 8 posts.

What Weekloop costs

Local Hero €29.90, Business €79.90 and Creator €149.90 per month with monthly billing, two months free with yearly billing. They include 150, 500 or 1,500 credits per month, used depending on the creation steps. Weekloop does not run paid ads.

What Weekloop delivers

A weekly plan by email, social posts and carousels, reels and commercials, product images, posters and flyers, newsletters, SEO blog articles and Google Business posts, all from one brand profile. Publishing happens after your approval (weekly plan and publishing in Business and Creator).

Where an agency is the better choice

Strategy and positioning, photo and video shoots on location, large campaigns with many stakeholders, and ongoing management of paid ads. Weekloop does not do that and does not aim to replace it.

Both together

Weekloop can run alongside an agency: the agency owns strategy, shoots and campaigns, Weekloop delivers the weekly posts, newsletters and blog articles from the same brand profile. That keeps agency time free for the big topics.
